SodaTide Review 2026
Last updated: October 4, 2026
SodaTide is advertised widely, and not always accurately. Some ads talk about a baking soda trick, and several unrelated products use almost the same name. This review ignores the advertising and looks only at the Supplement Facts label of the capsule sold through the official BuyGoods order page.

What the formula is trying to do
Most weight-management supplements rely on caffeine. SodaTide takes a different route and works on the gut. Inulin and resistant starch are fibers that pass through the stomach untouched and are fermented by bacteria in the colon. That fermentation produces short-chain fatty acids, which nourish the gut lining and take part in appetite signalling.
The three probiotic strains were clearly chosen with that in mind. Clostridium butyricum produces butyrate, and Akkermansia muciniphila lives in the mucus layer of the gut and has attracted a lot of scientific interest for its links to metabolic health.
What we like
- A transparent, short label. Three active ingredients, each with its amount stated. No hidden stimulant blend.
- Stimulant-free. No caffeine, so it should not cause jitters or disturb sleep.
- Interesting strains. Akkermansia and C. butyricum are rarely found in ordinary probiotics.
- Simple routine. One small capsule a day.
- One-time purchase. The official checkout states there is no subscription, and there is a 60-day guarantee.
What to keep in mind
- Small fiber amounts. Studies on inulin usually use several grams a day, and resistant starch studies use 15 g or more. A capsule supplies about a third of a gram in total, so think of it as a supplement to fiber in your diet, not a replacement.
- No CFU count. The probiotic blend is given as 36 mg. Without a count of live organisms it cannot be compared directly with doses used in studies.
- Needs refrigeration. The label asks you to keep it in the fridge after opening.
- Name confusion. Other sellers offer different formulas under similar names. Check the label you receive.
- Not a shortcut. No probiotic melts fat on its own. Diet and activity still do most of the work.
Who SodaTide may suit
It suits healthy adults who want a gentle, stimulant-free supplement to support digestion while they improve their eating habits, especially people who do not tolerate caffeine-based products.
Who should ask a doctor first
Anyone with a weakened immune system, serious illness, a central line, recent abdominal surgery or a significant bowel condition should speak to a doctor before taking any probiotic. The same applies if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18 or taking prescription medicine.
Price and value
Two bottles cost $79 each plus $9.99 shipping, three bottles $69 each with free US shipping, and six bottles $49 each with free US shipping. The three- and six-bottle packages include six digital bonus guides. Full details are on our price page.
Our verdict
SodaTide is a simple, honest-looking synbiotic with unusual strains and no stimulants. Its limits are the modest fiber amounts and the lack of a CFU count. If you want a low-risk gut supplement to go with better eating, it is a reasonable option, and the 60-day guarantee lowers the risk. Read the ingredient guide and the safety page first.
